Works in Grey

Grey is my response to uncertainly, moral ambiguity and the haze of memory. My grey paintings are all made from the same torn and scavenged fragments in my studio. One painting will be pulled apart and reassembled into a man, then into a spider map or pulled apart again and reassembled as a jet or a ravaged Fragonard or Watteau. Past is linked with future. Creation is linked to destruction.
